I had so much fun with my previous 365 project (Last Year of My 20s) that I decided I should do another one.

Day 019: Winner!
Mom, Ashley, Toby, Rodney, Marc, Dennis, and I did Walk Michigan tonight, and I won the drawing for the T-shirt. I bet it's because I was wearing the Walk MI shirt I won two years ago.

Day 018: Pink Flowers
Since it was a beautiful day out, Ashley and I took Toby and Rodney hiking at City Forest. And then proceeded to get ourselves lost in the woods. We hiked for a lot longer than we planned, but it was good exercise.

Day 016: Sunglasses Day
My calendar at work said today was sunglasses day, so I took a picture of a portion of my sunglasses collection. Interestingly, today was rainy and crappy, so I didn't get to wear any sunglasses.

Day 014: Lavender
I don't think the lavender bloomed at all last year... It wasn't until fall that I even realized that it was lavender. It's blooming wonderfully this year.

Day 013: Princess Lily
Dennis, Carly, Marc, Mandy, Scott, Sarah, Lily, and I went to Logan's to celebrate "no more school for Jen." What a great celebration! Lily was adorable as usual.

Day 012: Last Day of School
Today was my very last day of class. It was awesome. After my exam, I walked over to the seal to take this photo. Because today is National Pink Day, I painted my toes pink for the picture (and I wore my pink tie-dye shirt).

Day 008: Father's Day
For Father's Day, we got Dad an electric garbage can (because that's such gift for a dad). You wave your hand above it and it opens by itself. Dad thought it was great, Rodney didn't--he barked a lot.

Day 006: Escape
So, the garage is being redone and the builders put up this orange plastic fence so that the dogs can still use the backyard. I don't know if a rabbit chewed a hole in it or if the hole was already there, but a certain somebody found the hole and decided to go on an adventure without telling me. Meanwhile, I am in the house, working on the last paper of my college career. At 9:00 Rodney reminds me that it's dinner time and I feed him and put food in Toby's bowl. That's when I realized something was wrong. Toby can hear food poured in his bowl anywhere in the house and usually comes running. But this time he didn't. After searching all three floors of the house and the backyard, I started freaking out. I went out to the front yard, but saw nothing. I was getting ready to go back in the house when I decided to look down the street, all the while frantically calling his name. I looked toward the right, and there he is just past the property line in the neighbor's yard. Of course, he's looking at me like "what?" After taking him back in the house, I went outside to inspect the yard and determined the only way he could've gotten out is the orange fence. The builders had staked down some of it, but they underestimated Toby's curiosity and cleverness. So, I used tent stakes and tacked the fence down further. I just gotten to the end of the fence when I discovered the hole.I'm guessing that's how he got out. I've got the hole blocked for now, but if it was caused by a pissed off bunny who couldn't get through, then there could be more in the future. For the rest of the night, Toby stuck pretty close to me, perhaps understanding how much he scared me?

Doug took me to Diamond Jim's for lunch for my birthday. After, we walked over to Heather 'N Holly's where I bought fancy chocolates. They were delicious!
